Having grown up here in Central Florida, Dr. Hines understands the soul of hospitality that is native to our Sunshine State.
Her journey to this calling is a testament of her dedication to the well-being of animals and her profound respect for the sanctity of end-of-life care.
She began her career in human healthcare, earning a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina. For nearly a decade, she served in emergency and critical care, offering compassionate care and support at the bedside. Yet, a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian and providing care for animals during their most vulnerable moments, beckoned.
Following her heart, Dr. Hines embarked on a new path and earned her veterinary degree from St. George's University. Throughout her academic journey, she remained steadfast in her belief that every creature, great and small, deserves to feel safe, cherished, and surrounded by love during their final moments.
"This isn't a profession; it's a deeply rooted passion. I understand that these moments are profound and significant."
Her mission is to provide the care, comfort, and dignity that your loved companion deserves.
With Gentle Farewells, Dr. Hines extends her hands, heart, and compassion to guide you through what can at times be a very difficult journey. Working to provide a peaceful and loving farewell in the comfort of your home—a place where your pet feels safest, surrounded by the love they've known.
